Classic Vehicle Restorations:

custom projects. We replace and install customer bought glass.
Offroad Customized Glass Installations:

Recalibrations on ADAS Equipped Vehicles:
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) primarily focus on collision avoidance
technologies. For example, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot
Monitoring, Forward Collision Alert, and Automatic Breaking. Also, driver aids, such as Night
Vision, Driver Alertness, and Adaptive Cruise Control. These technologies are designed to
increase the safety of driving a vehicle.
You probably want to know if it is necessary to perform ADAS recalibrations on vehicles
after windshield replacement?
The answer is yes.
Calibration is necessary to ensure that these safety systems function properly. The systems
may not function properly if calibration is not performed, endangering the safety of the
driver, passengers and other drivers on the road ADAS calibrations involved ensuring the
cameras, sensors and other components are properly aligned and adjusted according to
manufacturer's specifications.
When something like a windshield replacement is done. The Forward-Facing cameras need
recalibration because there is no way that each camera bracket is mounted the exact same
as it was the day the Vehicle was shipped off the line, whether it be OEM or after-market
glass. The slightest degree off could cause the system to fail to work properly, causing
injuries and/or accidents. That is why it is so important to have the recalibration done.
We provide In-Shop (STATIC) and mobile (DYNAMIC) recalibration with our Autel MaxiSys.
STATIC recalibrations consist of measuring out, setting up a frame and target boards to
OEM specifications. DYNAMIC recalibrations consist of plugging into your vehicle and
performing a drive cycle.
